Porte Brown will be hosting an information and recruiting event on August 1st from 11am - 2pm at Topgolf in Schaumburg. We are looking for current accounting freshman, sophomores, and juniors that are interested in a career in public accounting. During this event, our professionals will be talking about their experiences in public accounting. We will be discussing career opportunities and details of the job to give students a better understanding of the work. In addition to learning a lot about the industry and career opportunities, we will be providing time for great conversations, golfing, and eating.

Tax Season Internship (2025)

The Tax Season Internship position touches on a variety of tax related tasks from the preparation of W2s and 1099s for business clients, to the preparation of Form 1040 returns for individuals. This position will also require participation in a variety of other projects necessary to a successful tax season. Summer Internship (2025)

The Summer Internship Position touches on a variety of tax, audit and accounting related tasks from learning about QuickBooks, working with client’s monthly accounting work, preparation of sales tax returns, preparation of payroll tax returns, working on employee benefit audits, 1040 preparation, shadowing with our staff accountants and additional projects during the internship.
