As Porte Brown’s Chief Growth Officer, Michael oversees the development and overall growth strategy of the firm. He spearheads the firm’s strategic initiatives to expand its market presence, drive revenue growth, and identify new business opportunities. Michael’s strong leadership skills and extensive experience in the industry ensures that the firm has the guidance and knowledge to provide its clients with personalized and professional service.

Michael is one of the leaders of Porte Brown’s Elevate365: Outsourced Accounting & Advisory Services team, which provides customized accounting packages for clients. His leadership ensures that businesses receive not only efficient financial management but also strategic insights that drive growth and optimize resources. Under his direction, the team is dedicated to delivering client-centric, innovative solutions that elevate financial processes and contribute to the overall success of his clients.

Previously, Michael steered the firm’s Manufacturing & Distribution Accounting team, optimizing financial operations for his manufacturing clients. He also led Porte Brown’s Retirement & Employee Benefit Plans team and has extensive experience working with clients to design and administer qualified retirement or benefit plans. Michael is also the partner-in-charge of the Porte Brown office in Woodridge, Illinois.

Professional Experience

Like many Porte Brown partners, Michael began his career as a staff accountant at the firm. Porte Brown’s entrepreneurial approach allows employees to follow their strengths, develop expertise and contribute to client success. Michael became a partner in 2006.
